Archiving Policy — Long-Term Digital Preservation

Current preservation status

Independent long-term digital preservation is being arranged. Participation or deposit in PKP Preservation Network, LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, Portico, or another external preservation service has not yet been verified. JKD does not currently claim that published content is deposited with any of these services.

Preservation plan

The journal aims to preserve published full-text files, supplementary materials, and descriptive metadata with an independent preservation service. The provider, coverage, deposit process, and access arrangements will be published once activated and verified. The website Archives page is an issue catalogue and is not itself evidence of independent long-term preservation.

Operational backups

Database, submission files, public files, and configuration require secure backups, an off-site copy, and restoration testing. This policy does not claim a particular automated backup schedule or verified restoration capability. Operational backups are distinct from independent scholarly preservation.

Versions and continuity

Corrections, expressions of concern, and retractions should remain linked to the affected article. During any migration or publisher transfer, the journal will seek to retain publication files, metadata, and stable URLs or redirects. A guaranteed post-closure access arrangement will be stated only after an external service is confirmed.

Identifiers and indexing

The online ISSN application has been submitted and is awaiting a decision; no ISSN has been assigned. A CORE data-provider request has also been submitted and awaits approval and harvesting. Google Scholar inclusion has not been confirmed. These pending requests do not establish database inclusion. DOI registration is not currently claimed. OJS installation and an OAI-PMH endpoint do not themselves establish indexing or preservation.
