Journal Help
Finding and reading articles
Current displays the most recent published issue; Archives lists all published issues. Search locates published content using titles, authors, abstracts and keywords where indexed. On an article page, use the PDF link to view or download the full text. Supplementary files, when present, are listed separately.
Creating an account
Use Register in the upper-right corner, complete the required fields and use an email address you control. Keep your credentials private. Registration creates a reader or author account according to the available options; it does not appoint you as an editor or reviewer. Email delivery is being verified. Until delivery is confirmed, monitor your author dashboard for submission status and contact the editorial office if you do not receive an expected message.
Signing in and recovering access
Use Login in the upper-right corner. If sign-in fails, check the username, keyboard language and password. Use the password reset option if available and check spam folders. Never send your password with a support request. Contact editor@jkdjournal.com for submission support.
Starting a submission
Sign in, choose a new submission and follow the OJS steps shown on screen. Select the appropriate article component for each file, enter every author and complete the title, abstract, keywords and declarations. Check the final summary and confirm submission. Saving a draft is not the same as completing submission. Online submissions are open.
Preparing and uploading files
Use DOC or DOCX where possible, or another format listed in the author guidelines. Keep the title page separate from the anonymous manuscript. Remove identifying comments, tracked-change names and file metadata as appropriate. If an upload fails, check the extension, file size, password protection and connection. Try a clear filename and a smaller file; do not repeatedly create duplicate submissions.
Tracking progress and contacting the editor
Open your dashboard and select the submission to see the available stage and messages. Check both the dashboard and email. Reply within the existing submission discussion so the record stays together. Include the submission ID in queries and allow time for editorial assessment. A status label does not guarantee a decision date.
Submitting a revision
Use the revision task within the existing submission. Supply a clean revised manuscript, a point-by-point response and a marked copy when requested. Answer each numbered comment, give page or section locations and explain disagreements with evidence. Do not start a new submission for a revision unless the editor instructs you to do so.
Reviewer access
Review invitations must be issued by the editorial team. Sign in using the invited account, inspect the request and declare conflicts before accepting. Follow the review steps and submit the final recommendation; uploading a report alone may not complete the task. Contact the editor early if you need an extension.
Correcting account or article details
Update your profile for future correspondence. Profile edits do not automatically change author information in an existing submission or published article. Ask the handling editor about submission metadata; published errors require the correction process. Explain the requested change without sending unnecessary personal documents.
Technical and accessibility support
Use a current browser, enable essential site cookies and try reopening a PDF with a local PDF reader if the embedded viewer fails. Request an accessible version if a file presents a barrier. A useful support message includes the page URL, submission ID if relevant, browser, approximate time and error text. Remove passwords and confidential material from screenshots.
Current service status
Registration, online submission, draft saving and file upload are available. Email delivery is being verified; use the author dashboard to check status. The journal does not currently collect payments through the submission form or claim DOI registration or external indexing. Submission, peer review and publication are currently free, with no APC or page charge. Any future fee policy will be announced in advance and require author agreement; no retroactive fees will be imposed.
Interface language
Choose English or 简体中文 in the interface language selector. This changes navigation and controls, not the language of submitted manuscripts, published articles or review reports.
