Corrections & Appeals
Reporting a concern
Identify the article or submission, describe the specific issue, provide locations and supporting evidence, and state any relevant interest in the matter. Contact the editorial office at editor@jkdjournal.com. Avoid circulating confidential manuscripts or private personal information. Reports are assessed on their substance, not on whether the reporter supports the article’s conclusions.
Assessment and response
The responsible editor reviews the evidence, seeks responses from relevant parties and consults an independent editor when conflicted. Serious research integrity concerns may require institutional input. Preserve records and communicate proportionately while an assessment is ongoing. No fixed investigation deadline is promised because some matters depend on third parties.
Corrections and notices
A correction addresses a material error while retaining the article’s main reliability. An expression of concern may be used when a serious issue remains unresolved. Retraction may be appropriate where findings are unreliable or publication is seriously compromised. Notices should identify the affected work, explain the reason and link bidirectionally with the article. Removing an article entirely is exceptional and may be needed for legal or serious privacy reasons.
Appealing a decision
Submit a focused explanation of a factual or procedural error, identify the decision and provide relevant evidence. A different editor should review the appeal where practicable. Disagreement alone does not establish an error, and an appeal does not guarantee external review or acceptance. Authors should await the outcome or withdraw their appeal before submitting elsewhere.
Complaints about conduct or service
Describe what happened, when, the people or role involved and the remedy requested. Complaints concerning the handling editor should be referred to an uninvolved, qualified editor; any conflict of interest must be disclosed. The public editorial roster is still being confirmed. Do not send passwords or unrelated personal documents. Publisher: LINHUI LI. Send publisher or service complaints to editor@jkdjournal.com, marked for the publisher. A person named in a complaint should not decide that complaint; the office will explain the available independent handling arrangements.
